Red Sox at the halfway point

Expect the expected: Lester and BuchholzMany fans considered Jon Lester and Clay Buchholz to be the co-aces of the rotation once the season began. Lester was 9-3 with a 2.86 ERA at the end of June last season. Lester sits at 10-4 with a 3.47 ERA at the midway point, but he's given 14 homers so far in 2011, the same number that he gave up all of last season.
Buchholz is on the disabled list and is expected to be back after the All-Star break. Buchholz is 6-3 with a 3.48 ERA, but he also has problems with the long ball, giving up 10 in 82.2 innings after giving up 9 in 173.2 innings last year.
