Cameron to Pads?

Mike Cameron was a key cog in the Manny Ramirez trade talks last July, but it appears he will not be a part of any potential deal this offseason.

According to ESPN.com's Buster Olney (he cites unidentified baseball officials), the Mets and Padres are on the verge of a deal that would send Cameron to the Padres.
