The Red Sox have received permission to interview Dayton Moore, the director of player personnel for the Atlanta Braves, and Wayne Krivsky, the assistant GM for the Minnesota Twins.

Moore's interview is scheduled to be held in little more than an hour. Not sure when Krivsky is scheduled.

Tony LaCava, the Blue Jays director of player personnel, has indeed pulled out of the running, having declined a request to interview for the job. LaCava told the Toronto Globe and Mail he prefers to stay put.

I just ran into Indians assistant GM Chris Antonetti, who was reported to be out by Peter Gammons. Antonetti told me he had no comment but would have an answer by the end of the day.
