In his pregame meeting with the press, Red Sox manager Terry Francona said that he and general manger Theo Epstein would meet today to map out what Julian Tavarez will do pitching-wise while he's serving his 10-day suspension.

Francona also passed along the pitchers the Red Sox will face in Baltimore this weekend: Daniel Cabrera, Bruce Chen, and Rodrigo Lopez. The Sox will counter with Matt Clement, Curt Schilling, and Tim Wakefield.

Francona was also asked if he felt Willy Mo Pena could play center field after watching him for a few weeks. "Probably not while [Adam] Stern's here but he can [play center field],'' he said.
