The start of tonight's Red Sox-Yankees game has been delayed until at least 8 p.m. due to rainy weather conditions. The team said that it will reevaluate the weather situation at 7:30 p.m.

Check back here for further updates.

Some non-weather news, Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon has been named the American League Rookie of the Month for April.

The 25-year-old Papelbon has not been scored upon in 13 relief appearances, throwing 14 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball while striking out 14 and walking just two batters. He converted all ten of his save opportunities to become the Major League leader in saves.

The win by Papelbon marks the second time a Red Sox has captured the Rookie of the Month award; Kevin Youkilis won the honor in May of 2004.
