Manny Ramirez will start in left field for the Red Sox tonight. Ramirez had injured his right knee last night and was lifted from the game in the sixth inning.

Sox manager Terry Francona said today that Coco Crisp has been sick this week and has not yet been able to swing a bat or do any baseball activity because he's been in bed. This puts him about three or four days behind schedule in his rehab from a broken finger.

David Wells threw 73 pitches in the bullpen and is still set for a simulated game on Saturday. He is scheduled to start for Pawtucket on May 18 in Buffalo. He could do another rehab start before being activated with the big club.
