Mets rookie outfielder Lastings Milledge just had a rude introduction to the Green Monster in the bottom of the fourth. Milledge, seemingly feeling for the wall, misplayed a Manny Ramirez fly ball that would have ended the inning into a two-run double, giving the Sox a 5-2 lead heading into the fifth. The ball off Manny's bat fooled Milledge, landing over his head and short of the Wall, as both Mark Loretta and David Ortiz came around to score.
