Doug Mientkiewicz didn't exactly receive a Pedro Martinez-like, hero's welcome on his return to Fenway, but it wasn't the boofest that Johnny Damon inspired either. The former Sox first baseman, who is best known for pocketing the ball from the final out of the 2004 World Series, drew a mixture of boos and cheers when he was introduced before his first at-bat in the top of first.
