No word on Manny

There was no announcement from Major League Baseball on Manny Ramirez's participation in Tuesday’s All-Star game.

Manager Terry Francona maintains that the Red Sox have made Major League Baseball aware of Ramirez’s withdrawal from the game.

“The next thing that will happen is MLB will have the next announcement. I’ve done my part, hopefully respectfully,” Francona said.

Francona also announced the order of the rotation after the All-Star Break: Tim Wakefield, Josh Beckett, Curt Schilling, and Jon Lester/Jason Johnson or Johnson/Lester.
