When told that A-Rod was rooting for him, and wasn't that weird for a Yankee to be pulling for Red Sox: "It's not about the Yankees and the Red Sox, it's about being on the same team. Me and A-Rod, we're really friends. We talk a lot. I'm rooting for him to hit tomorrow, too.''
