Spring is in the air in Boston today with temperatures in the 60s, and spring training tickets for the 2007 Red Sox Grapefruit League season are about to go on sale.
Tickets for all 17 Red Sox home games at the City of Palms Park in Fort Myers go on sale this Saturday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m.
The Red Sox released the following details regarding spring training tickets:
In addition to single game tickets, “Spring Pax” (two different 3-game packages) will be available in 2007.
Tickets can be purchased online at RedSox.com, via touchtone phone at (617-482-4SOX), or at the City of Palms Park box office.
The City of Palms Park Box office will be open Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 2-3 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Beginning Monday, Dec. 4, the Fort Myers box office will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The Red Sox also announced earlier this month that the latest addition to City of Palms Park for the spring of 2007 will feature a new right field deck located directly behind the outfield fence. This new area will include approximately 150 barstool-type seats and a drink rail, similar to the Green Monster seats at Fenway Park. Tickets for this new seating area will be available this Saturday.
Additionally, there will be a new outside suite for seating for approximately 20 people located adjacent to the right field foul pole. That suite will be available for purchase on a per game basis.
