Deeble leads Lowell

Red Sox scout John Deeble, who played a large role in the Red Sox' pursuit of Japanese pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka, was appointed today to manage the Lowell Spinners, the club's Single-A team.

Deeble, who was serving as the Sox' coordinator of Pacific Rim scouting, had previously managed the Spinners in 2003. He also managed the Australian team in last spring's World Baseball Classic.

The coaching staffs for all of the Sox' minor league teams are now set. Below is a full list, provided by the Red Sox media relations staff:
