PORT ST. LUCIE -- Sorry for the delay, folks. The Sox had another longer than expected bus ride across the state, with their three hour trip taking about 45 minutes more than they had planned. Manager Terry Francona was, again, enthused about the ride. Or not.

Not long after they hit the Mets' Tradition Field, the team was on the field taking batting practice. David Ortiz managed to make some kids out on the berm in right field pretty happy, sending about three or four shots out to them.

Josh Beckett is pitching tonight. Other regulars in the lineup include Julio Lugo, Manny Ramirez, Mike Lowell, and Ortiz.

We'll try to have some in-game updates, as we know that the game isn't being televised or on the radio tonight.

Thanks for the understanding.
