With the game in the seventh inning, just a few notes to report from Fort Myers. Jonathan Papelbon had a fairly good -- though inefficient -- outing, going 3 2/3 innings, giving up three hits, two runs, one walk, and five strikeouts.

Also, Dustin Pedroia was hit on the left wrist by a pitch thrown by Kyle Lohse in the fifth inning. He immediately left the game, replaced by Joe McEwing.

Other than that, things are quiet here in City of Palms Park. The Sox are losing 2-0, and haven't done much offensively.
