Nomar Garciaparra just got a nice ovation as he was introduced at City of Palms Park by PA announcer Carl Beane. Garciaparra is here with the Dodgers along with former Sox skipper Grady Little, who spent much of the pregame chatting with Johnny Pesky, Tim Wakefield, and Jim Rice.

Also on hand was former Sox third baseman Bill Mueller, who is a special assistant to Dodgers GM Ned Colleti. Mueller was carrying a laptop bag on his shoulder.

Also here was former Sox DH and hitting coach Mike Easler, who is the Triple-A hitting coach for the Dodgers, and Massachusetts resident Dave Jauss, the former Sox coach and scout, who is Little's bench coach.

J.D. Drew received a lot of attention from the LA-area media here. The Dodgers play here today and at Minnesota’s complex tomorrow.

Terry Francona did not hold his usual pregame press conference because he attended Jon Lester's debut this morning vs. the Twins' Sidney Ponson.
