It's gorgeous here at Fenway today. Absolutely beautiful. Weather in the 70s, sun everywhere, and Sox-Yankees on tap. What could be better?

(And shouldn't you be outside enjoying spring, instead of reading this blog?)

Interesting changes in the Yankees lineup. No Johnny Damon. No Jorge Posada. But Alex Rodriguez is still in there.

On the Sox side, Dustin Pedroia was given the day off as Alex Cora gets the start. Manager Terry Francona acknowledged that Pedroia has been pressing a bit given his offensive struggles, noting that it's "human nature" to do so.

"He has to get through it," Francona said. "He knows he has our support. He does work hard. He's got a lot of things in his favor. Just having a little bit of a tough time at the plate right now. He's trying too hard."

So here they are...

Red Sox

1. Julio Lugo, SS
2. Kevin Youkilis, 1B
3. David Ortiz, DH
4. Manny Ramirez, LF
5. J.D. Drew, RF
6. Mike Lowell, 3B
7. Jason Varitek, C
8. Coco Crisp, CF
9. Alex Cora, 2B

SP - Josh Beckett

Yankees

1. Melky Cabrera, CF
2. Derek Jeter, SS
3. Bobby Abreu, RF
4. Alex Rodriguez, 3B
5. Jason Giambi, DH
6. Robinson Cano, 2B
7. Doug Mientkiewicz, 1B
8. Kevin Thompson, LF
9. Wil Nieves, C

SP - Jeff Karstens
