New start time and a minors report

By Nick Cafardo, Globe Staff

The Sox have just announced the new start time is 12:15 p.m. The ground crew is dumping excess water off the tarp just beyond the infield which is really soaked with water at the moment.
The rain has lessened but not stopped completely. Some Red Sox players are stretching in right field.
As we watch rain fall, might as well take a look at the Sox farm system from yesterday.
Pawtucket is scheduled to play a double-header (scheduled for 12:05) against the Yankees' Scranton club. Lefty Kason Gabbard and the red-hot Devern Hansack are scheduled to start Games 1 and 2.
Double-A Portland has also run into weather issues. They were rained out Sunday. They'll play tomorrow in Binghampton. The Sea Dogs split a double-header Saturday. Righty knuckleballer Charlie Zink won 5-1 in Game 2 going six innings, allowing one run on five hits and two walks. Third baseman Andrew Pinkney went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI.
