Beckett out

By Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff

Josh Beckett was just removed from the game. Kyle Snyder is coming in to pitch. With Terry Francona just having had a conversation with the home plate umpire, it appears that Beckett has come out of the game with an injury.

Beckett threw four innings, giving up two hits on two runs and two walks. He struck out seven batters, including three in the first inning when he also gave up the two runs.

We'll update you when we hear something.
