Crisis averted

Though the Sox star reliever not named Jonathan Papelbon did add a notch to the ERA of Curt Schilling, he did get out of the seventh inning with the Sox still clinging to a 4-3 lead. Schilling had blanked the Twins over the first six, but allowed three singles and a walk before departing with two out in the inning.
Hideki Okajima relieved him and, after giving up a run-scoring single to Torii Hunter, got Justin Morneau to ground to second on a bit of a funny hop.
