Lineups, etc.

By Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff

Here we are in rainy Minneapolis, Minnesota. No need to worry, however, since we are of course in the Metrodome. It is a little chilly in here, though the fact that I'm always about 15 degrees colder than everyone around me may be a contributing factor.

Devern Hansack, who first made an appearance in the clubhouse after the game, held court. He was resting, maybe falling into a little nap, yesterday afternoon at 4 p.m. when he got the call that he was being called up. He got a friend to drive him up to Boston in time to make the team flight.

Jon Lester is going to join the team in Minnesota tomorrow. Because the cramping in his forearm counts as a different injury, he will probably remain with the team for a bit. He won't be placed on the active roster, eventually he'll be optioned to Pawtucket, but this gives him a chance to work with some of the major league trainers. He won't throw the rest of the weekend.

We'll get a few more points of interest up later.

For now, here are the lineups...
