Ortiz out again

David Ortiz is out of the Red Sox lineup for the third straight game with hamstring/groin issues. He'll have a seat on the bench for the return of Josh Beckett from an avulsion on his right middle finger. Red Sox manager Terry Francona said that Ortiz is "improving, but not to the point we felt comfortable playing him today."

With Ortiz out of the lineup as the designated hitter, Manny Ramirez is the DH again and Wily Mo Pena is getting his second straight start in left field. Here is the complete Sox lineup:
