Hello from Jacobs

CLEVELAND - Pretty quiet here as I watch pitching coach John Farrell do laps around Jacobs Field.
The Sox did confirm a report by WEEI earlier today they had signed veteran outfielder Brady Clark to a Triple-A deal. Clark, 34, was released by the Dodgers on June 20 and has joined Pawtucket tonight in Toledo. Jacoby Ellsbury was placed on the 7-day DL with a slight groin strain.
Not much on the more major trade stuff this afternoon. We may have an update later, other than the Sox need to step up their interest in Mark Teixeira to beat out the Braves for him.
