Price too high for Dye

The Sox made what they considered a strong run for Jermaine Dye, but when the White Sox wanted two of these three players--Craig Hansen, Justin Masterson and Manny Delcarmen--they balked. The Sox probably would have done the deal for Hansen and Wily Mo Pena, but they were not going to part with either of the other two.
