Clay Buchholz will be pitching the first game of tomorrow's doubleheader against the Angels. He will be flown into Boston today, from Ottawa, where the PawSox are playing, and is expected to be at Fenway Park this afternoon at 3 p.m.

He will be sent back down to Pawtucket after the game.

Jacoby Ellsbury is also expected to be called up to the Red Sox tomorrow. Ellsbury will likely be added to the roster for the second game of the doubleheader, taking the spot of Buchholz, who will then be sent back to Pawtucket.

While Buchholz will be traded for Ellsbury after the game, Wily Mo Pena is the one who is initially expected to lose his spot, either being traded or designated for assignment. (The Sox need to free up a space on the roster for the Buchholz/Ellsbury combination.)

The lefthanded-hitting Ellsbury is not expected to stay very long on the Red Sox roster. The Red Sox will be facing righties on both Friday and Saturday.

Bobby Kielty remains the only righthanded hitting outfield option for the Red Sox. He is still in Pawtucket, though he is able to exercise an out in his contract at any point.

Here are the probable starters for the weekend series with the Angels:

Friday--Day (1:05 p.m.) RHP John Lackey (15-7, 3.07) vs. RHP Clay Buchholz

Friday--Night (7:05 p.m.) RHP Ervin Santana (5-11, 6.22) vs. RHP Josh Beckett (15-5, 3.24)

Saturday (7:05 p.m.) RHP Jered Weaver (8-5, 3.85) vs. RHP Curt Schilling (6-5, 4.06)

Sunday (2:05 p.m.) LHP Joe Saunders (6-1, 3.50) vs. TBA
