Drew's gaffe

J.D. Drew just heard some boos here at Fenway Park. With a direct line to an easy drive off the bat of Vladimir Guerrero, Drew let the ball bounce off his glove. Clear error.

Guerrero made it to second base. Cabrera advanced to third.

Not exactly what Buchholz needed in his first inning of major league work.

By the way, Buchholz is wearing No. 61 today.

Gary Matthews, Jr., also got a round of boos as he stepped to the plate, likely for the comments he made about Red Sox fans as compared to Yankees fans earlier in the week. He wasn't really all that complimentary...
