Field chatter
By Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff
Between the heavy, humid, wet air and the handful (or so) of people in the crowd, it definitely has a bit of a spring training feeling.
Plus, even way up in the press box, which in Sox Park is all the way in right field (not the best of views and unusual for a press box), you can hear the voices of individual fans cheering and making comments. This may be the smallest crowd I've ever seen at a Red Sox game. (Granted, yes, my history doesn't go back all that far.)
It's 1-0, as we start the bottom of the second.
