Getting closer....
By Daniel Malloy, Globe Correspondent
It's now 6-5 in the ninth as Al Reyes became the third Devil Rays reliever to give up a run this afternoon (what did I say about how no lead is safe?).
Coco Crisp -- last night's walk-off hero -- led off the inning with a perfect bunt single down the third base line that a charging Akinori Iwamura couldn't handle, and Crisp probably would have made it if he had. Julio Lugo then followed with an 11-pitch at-bat that took approximately 45 minutes before hitting a double to left center to score Coco from first.
Still no outs, and it's 6-5.
