NEW YORK - The Red Sox have been swept by the Yankees here today, 5-0, in a game where emotions ran high.

Yankees' rookie pitcher Joba Chamberlain was ejected by home plate unpire Angel Hernandez after he threw two consecutive pitches behind Kevin Youkilis. It was odd to see Chamberlain purposely throw at Youkilis if he did. Youkilis had been involved in an interference play in the 7th where he was called out for running out of the baseline as Alex Rodriguez tried to apply a tag. Youkilis was quite vocal in his disagreement, but it didn't appear that would warrant Chamberlain's response.

Chien Ming Wang pitched seven one-hit innings. He allowed his first hit to Mike Lowell in the 7th. Sox bats could do nothing today or in this series.

Curt Schilling pitched well but allowed two solo homers to Robinson Cano.
