Split ensured
By Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff
For those of you, like me, whose math skills aren't exactly stellar, the Red Sox have now ensured themselves of a split of this four-game series with the White Sox. It was a 10-1 win in the night cap of the doubleheader.
Just to give everyone who's still up and reading the blog a laugh, here's the quote of the night (and perhaps the season)...
"Twelve hours of my life I wasted and I'm never going to get it back," White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said.
OK, long day all around.
See you all in the morning.
