And so the legend grows. September call-up Jacoby Ellsbury has done it again, singling home the first run of the game in the bottom of the second (yeah, we're an hour in and it's the second -- it wouldn't be a Sox-Yankees game if it didn't take 6 1/2 hours).

Ellsbury reached out for a low and away offering from Andy Pettitte and smoked it right back up the middle to score Kevin Youkilis from third with two outs. Ellsbury now has hit safely in all 12 games he's played since being recalled from Pawtucket Sept. 1. Not bad.

It's 1-0 Sox after two.
