David Ortiz couldn't do it this time, fisting a ball into short centerfield, where it was caught by Derek Jeter.

That left the game at 4-3, with the Yankees taking two of three from the Red Sox this time. The lead in the AL East is down to 4 1/2 games, four in the loss column.
