So in all the excitement about Clay we didn't post the usual lineups and injury report, and I apologize for the delay. Here are tonight's lineups:

Boston:
1. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
2. Manny Ramirez. LF
3. David Ortiz, DH
4. Mike Lowell, 3B
5. J.D. Drew, RF
6. Kevin Youkilis, 1B
7. Jason Varitek, C
8. Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
9. Julio Lugo, SS

SP: Daisuke Matsuzaka

Minnesota:
1. Jason Bartlett, SS
2. Jason Kubel, LF
3. Torii Hunter, CF
4. Justin Morneau, DH
5. Michael Cuddyer, RF
6. Garrett Jones, 1B
7. Matthew LeCroy, C
8. Brian Buscher, 3B
9. Nick Punto, 2B

SP: Kevin Slowey

Ellsbury is in the lineup tonight, as you can see, after leaving last night's game with soreness in his calf.

"We have him in the lineup, we reserve the right to not have him in the lineup," Terry Francona said this afternoon. "I think the trainers feel that will happen. Well get him out on the field a little bit and see how hes moving around."

Coco Crisp remains sidelined with an apparent virus, and Francona had not spoken to him before talking to the media, since he was in meetings.

Kevin Youkilis also has returned after taking the night off (before pinch-hitting in the ninth) yesterday with fatigue in his injured wrist.

We will return with in-game updates as they develop.
