Well, we'll see about that. But Manny is a no-go again today--he last played 8/28--though he hit again and presumably is getting closer.
Coco Crisp is out, too, because his back stiffened up Monday night and it's still not good today. Kevin Youkilis played catch with trainer Paul Lessard, and said his right wrist is getting better. The swelling has settled in his thumb, but it has gone down.
The phenom, Clay Buchholz, gets to make his first start since the no-no (as y'all know by now). You know there will be limitations on far he goes, though Tito didn't spell 'em out.
But he did announce that the pitching rotation is different than what he said last night. Tim Wakefield will go Sunday in the dome in St. Pete, following Daisuke and Beckett. Schill gets pushed back till next Tuesday, which gives him three extra days, like Daisuke got. Wake gets an extra day. This also puts Schill in a position where he won't have too long a layoff before his playoff start.
