Boston Globe columnist and Globe 10.0 host Bob Ryan devised a fan alert system to gauge the level of panic in Red Sox Nation. With the Sox having lost four of five and their lead in the AL East down to a mere 2 1/2 games over the Yankees with 10 to play (New York has 11), where do you fall on this meter?

Do you see the team's first division crown in more than 10 years slipping away in a deflating mix of injuries, bullpen struggles, and overall flat play? Are you cringing when you see e-mails in your inbox from your Yankee-fan friends? Or are you relaxed in the fact that the Sox still have the best record in baseball (though by only a half game) and their magic number to reach the playoffs is down to just three after Detroit's loss?
