Welcome from Camden Yards

By Nick Cafardo, Globe Staff

BALTIMORE - We're underway at Camden Yards.

The Orioles have just snapped a 22-inning scoreless string by Tim Wakefield with a Miguel Tejada RBI single in the first inning to take a 1-0 lead over rthe Sox.

Wakefield, who missed his last start with back soreness, is seeking his 17th win and 27th decision. He allowed a single to Tike Redman, who was briefly in Boston's camp in spring training, and a walk to Nick Markakis.

The Sox went down 1-2-3 in the top of the first.

The Orioles are wearing oldtime uniforms - 1932 Baltimore Black Sox outfits. Pretty nifty.
