Clap, clap, clap ... Tulo!

Posted by Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff October 28, 2007 09:13 PM

One Rookie of the Year candidate has clearly outplayed the other in this World Series.

While Dustin Pedroia is 5-for-15 (.333) with two runs scored and four RBI, Troy Tulowitzki is 3-for-11 (.273). Those numbers might not look all that different, but situations matter. Like with one out and Kaz Matsui on second, as he was in the third inning.

Jon Lester got Tulowitzki swinging. Then he got Matt Holliday swinging.

Still 1-0.
