Danger

Posted by Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff October 27, 2007 11:20 PM

Those were dangerous outs, but outs nonetheless.

After Ryan Spilborghs reached the warning track in centerfield with his blast, it took a leaping catch by Julio Lugo on a liner from Jeff Baker to end the sixth inning.

That's the second nice play by Lugo tonight, that catch and the stab-and-toss to Mike Lowell to get Yorvit Torrealba in the fifth inning.

It's 6-2, as we head to the seventh inning.
