Torre brings Rivera on early

NEW YORK - Faced with extinction, Joe Torre wasted no time bringing in Mariano Rivera in to the game in the eighth after former Sox catcher Kelly Shoppach doubled with one out off Yankee youngster Jose Veras, who also walked Grady Sizemore intentioanlly. Rivera got the next two outs to keep the game at 6-3 Cleveland.
