Think it might have been a good idea to keep Mike Lowell in the lineup?

After Josh Fogg intentionally walked Manny Ramirez, Mike Lowell ripped a single up the middle to score Dustin Pedroia and David Ortiz. That made the score 3-0.

Then, after J.D. Drew popped to shortstop, Jason Varitek singled into left field. Ramirez was sent home from second, made a wild turn around third, and missed the plate on his slide home. (He took an extra step before stepping on third.) Yorvit Torrealba got his tag in before Ramirez could touch the plate with his hand, leading to the out at home.
