World Series tickets

Posted by Steve Silva, Boston.com Staff October 11, 2007 06:12 PM

It's not too soon to be thinking about the World Series.

A limited number of tickets for World Series games 1, 2, 6 and 7, which may be played at Fenway Park if the Sox get past the Indians, will be available by telephone only (617-482-4SOX) starting at 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, while supplies last.

There will be a one-game, two-ticket purchase limit per customer. Ticket prices for the World Series, as established by MLB, are $225 for Box seats, $150 for grandstand seats, $75 for bleacher seats and $50 for standing room. All orders will include a $8 per ticket and $15 per transaction fee.

Fans who registered and were selected in the random online drawing for the opportunity to purchase tickets for the World Series will be notified via e-mail tomorrow.
