Lowell talks move along

Posted by Greg Lee, Globe Staff November 8, 2007 03:50 PM

Despite leaving Orlando without a new deal for World Series MVP Mike Lowell, Red Sox GM Theo Epstein is working hard to secure the third baseman.

Today the Globe reported that the team is willing to give a three-year deal to the 33-year old Lowell.

In the meantime the team is looking at other third base options, including Florida Marlins third baseman Miguel Cabrera and yes, even, free agent third baseman Alex Rodriguez.
