And now, a pause for this commercial message

Theo Epstein took just enough time to present Terry Francona Baseball America's Manager of the Year award, then left the premises before he could be intercepted by any inquisitive types. His session with Boston beat reporters tonight has been pushed back until at least 7 o'clock Eastern time. Will Carroll, who is so often dead-on in his medical info on Baseball Prospectus, is saying the Sox/Twins deal is all but done. My sources aren't willing to go that far yet. And BTW, Scott Boras' people confirmed that they have indeed signed Jacoby Ellsbury as a client.
