Another stop for the World Series trophy.

The Red Sox announced today that Vermont will host the 2007 World Series trophy on Monday, Dec. 17 at a public rally with Governor Jim Douglas on the steps of the State House at 2:30 p.m.

You will also be able to view the trophy at the Vermont State House in Montpelier from 2:45 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. The viewing will take place in the Main Foyer of the State Capitol building.

“Vermont looks forward to welcoming the World Champion Boston Red Sox back to our state to celebrate their victory and America’s pastime,” Governor Douglas said.

Wally the Green Monster will also be on hand.
