Beckett, Buchholz arrive
FORT MYERS, Fla. -- We’ve had our fist sightings of pitchers Josh Beckett and Clay Buchholz, each of whom showed up at the Sox' spring training facilities here and are working out.
Buchholz, who is the leading candidate to replace the injured Curt Schilling in the rotation, was wearing a T-shirt that read "Season begins now" on the back.
The Japanese media is also here, so obviously Daisuke Masuzaka is expected to be in camp again today.

We might be seeing the future of Red Sox pitching for the near future in those two.

Proof much?
What Superbowl!
I like our team this year however I am concerned that we may have to rely a little too much on unproven Bucholz. I am excited to see what Lester can do now that he is healthy and has some time under his belt but Bucholz is a kid with very little experience in the majors and people may be a little unrealistic as to what to expect. Especially since he threw the no hitter his 2nd time out.
Also, I do agree with getting rid of Crisp and giving the job to Ellsbury BUT, what if
he is a flash in the pan? I doubt that he is, but it has happened before.
it's like seeing the first robins in the yard.....spring!
Is it wrong that the true meaning of Valentine's Day for me is that pitchers and catchers have reported and spring is near?
Love you dear (wink, wink)
Rob,
Lighten up.
Peter, I think you're the one who needs to lighten up....Geez!
