Rep. Dan Burton (R., Ind.) used his turn to get McNamee to admit to numerous untruths, then said, "I don't know what to believe, but I know I don't believe you.''

He called McNamee a liar, Clemens a "baseball titan," referred to the proceedings as "really disgusting," and railed against "trial by media."

  1. Burton is total garbage. No credibility at all. No sense in searching for the truth. He's a jerk.

  1. Burton asks McNamee how he could keep syringes, etc. Doesn't he see that if he didn't keep this stuff, that it would be Roger's word against his? What a buffoon! McNamee saved it because he knew that this would eventually come out and he is protecting his butt!

  1. it was the most one sided diarrhea that I have ever heard. His only goal was to try and make Roger look like a hero and he totally mis-credited himself along with making Roger look foolish. McNamee had him eating out of his hands.
