Clemens hearing has begun

Posted by Gordon Edes, Globe Staff February 13, 2008 10:04 AM

Roger Clemens, accompanied by his wife, Debbie, has arrived for his appearance before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Brian McNamee, his one-time personal trainer, entered the hearing room a couple of minutes later.

The session began with committee chairman Henry Waxman observing a moment of silence for committee member Tom Lantos, who died earlier this week.

Waxman is now making his opening remarks.
