Not so bad

Posted by Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff February 28, 2008 08:00 PM

This game hasn't been nearly so one-sided as the one against Boston College. And yet...it's 12-0 at the end of the fifth inning. Northeastern has two hits and two errors, as the stands have actually emptied quite a bit.

Justin Masterson, the starter, has already spoken with media, even though the game is still going on. "Just like I wanted it to be," he said. "If that was an opening day start, of course I wouldn't be as happy as I am now. But I felt comfortable out there, just was underneath a couple of sinkers, like the one base hit was just down the side of it and it just hung there and the guy put a nice swing."

  1. It's so nice to hear baseball being played again.
