Pitching dates
John Farrell told the Japanese media that Josh Beckett will make his first start of the spring on Feb. 28, against Boston College. Daisuke Matsuzaka will not throw until the next day, on Feb. 29, at the Twins ballpark.
That's as far as we know. No pitching matchups have been announced for the rest of the three-game series against the Twins. (Three straight games against Minnesota, on the 29th, 1st, and 2nd, a grouping that could decide the Mayor's Cup...)
