Breakfast with the Sox

Posted by David Lefort, Boston.com Staff March 24, 2008 11:45 AM

Set your alarms, folks; one of the craziest Opening Days in Red Sox history kicks off tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. ET (NESN pregame show at 5 a.m.!) as the Sox take on the A's at the Tokyo Dome.

Check back with Extra Bases early and often, as the Globe's Amalie Benjamin will post the lineups and pregame notes and will keep you updated during the game. Boston.com will also feature a live inning-by-inning box score, game photos, and more.

As a primer, check out Dan Shaughnessy's column previewing the game and Benjamin's story on Daisuke Matsuzaka, who will start Game 1 for the Sox. And if you haven't perused it already, the Globe's baseball preview section that came out Sunday is must reading.

  1. 6:00 AM? Is that all? East Coast Sox fans are lucky!

We West Coast Red Sox fans have to be up at 3:00 AM and we're closer to Japan.

    Curse that International Dateline!
