Clay Buchholz was zipping along, in contrast to his first two starts this spring, before he ran into Joe Mauer and Michael Cuddyer, whose back-to-back doubles brought the Twins to within two runs of the Red Sox. Then Brendan Harris singled in Cuddyer, with two outs, bringing Terry Francona to the mound.

That was it for Buchholz. Jon Switzer is in to replace him, as the Sox lead 3-2.

The Sox got an additional run when Kevin Youkilis walked, and David Ortiz drove him in with a double to right field.
